Raven Baxter Is, And Always Will Be, Straight As Hell, Raven-Symoné Says
So I don’t know how I missed it but there was a That’s So Raven spin-off called Raven’s Home at some point, and the actress Raven-Symoné apparently declined to have her character be a lesbian (like her IRL). This is because, RS says, she didn’t want to change the essence of who Raven Baxter is in order to suit her, the actress. How she knew this fictional character would be straight well into adulthood, we’ll never know.
“I was asked a question, ‘Would you like Raven Baxter to be a lesbian?’ And I said no,” Raven-Symoné said on an episode of the podcast Pride. But she insisted it wasn’t because she wasn’t proud or “didn’t want to represent the LGBTQ+ community in any way,” but because “Raven Baxter is Raven Baxter is Raven Baxter, and there was no reason for me to change the human that she was in order to fit the actress that played her.”
There you have it folxxx, Raven Baxter loves dick & only dick. And that will never change. And this is how method acting works.
TBH I think RS just wanted to maximize the amount of money she could make on the spin-off and honestly? That’s gay rights.
