I’m Scared of ‘Dead Ringers’

I know all the lesbian influencer girlies are getting their Amazon bag by promoting this show, and I still want you to go and like all their posts so companies know dykes can sell sh*t too, but, with that being said…..maybe don’t watch the show. Like, ever. It’s truly horrifying and unnecessarily disgusting and will haunt your nightmares until your dying day. Basically, it makes False Positive look like The Land Before Time.

As soon as the pilot starts I read the unusually long disclaimer in the upper lefthand corner of the screen, warning me that there will be “nudity, violence, substance use, alcohol use, smoking, foul language, and sexual content.” (None of these warnings was warning-y enough!!)

“That’s a lot of disclaimers,” I think, but like an idiot, I continue anyway.

The opening scene is two, that’s right, not one but TWO, Rachel Weiszs, sitting across one another at a diner. Rachel Weisz is playing identical twins which is subsequently the wet dream of every gay woman in America.

Some guy, apropo of fuck all, turns around and is like “you two should fuck.” Ummmmmmm k? Thank you for the feedback. I was trying to finish my eggs, but I guess I’ll fist my sister instead.
