‘I Care A Lot’ Is Exactly The Representation We Asked For

I Care A Lot is what happens when a (str8?) guy with too much time on his hands hits his juul a little too hard while watching lesbian porn. The story centers on Marla (Rosamund Pike) who likes to legally kidnap the elderly and drain them of all their assets, vape out of a small steel dildo, and make out with her co-conspirator/gf, Fran (Eiza Gonzále).

Together Marla and Fran basically kidnap an older woman named Jennifer, played by Dianne Wiest. (How they got a two-time Oscar winner to do this movie with this script is beyond, but I guess the pandemic is drying up work for everybody.) Working with a corrupt nursing home, Marla becomes the legal guardian of Jennifer. She literally shows up to her house and is like “I own you now” and Diane is like “wait, what?” Then she forces her into said evil nursing home before selling off all of her stuff, including her house.

Marla and Fran’s relationship is ………. written by a a guy who looks like this and it shows. Fran’s always looking at Marla like she wants to lick the foundation off of her face. They have sex after auctioning…
