No phrase in the English language boils me blood more than “cancel culture.” I understand that people have become beyond rude on the internet and truly take pleasure in making you feel like dog sh*t (when you maybe just made a spelling error), so they can feel superior and gain followers, and there are bystanders who live for that sh*t, but THAT is all very different from a famous person or politician facing consequences for repeated allegations of sexual assault and harassment. Can we please get a clear distinction between these things?? (@ Webster???) Because when you say you don’t like “cancel culture” you sound like a republican — just sayin’.

Once again a powerful man (Chris Noth aka Mr. Big) has been called out for his own grotesque behavior and once again we’re wasting our time talking about “cancelling” and wondering what poor old Chris Noth is going to do — aside from take his millions of dollars and f&ck off.
