‘AJLT’ S2 E8: Ghost Your Friends When They’re Happier Than You

Aidan and Carrie found a hotel to fuck in since his PTSD was triggered by Carrie’s apartment, where she dumped him 21 years ago. They’ve apparently been staying in this hotel for several days? Weeks? They order two more $26 omelets because money is no object to Aidan now that he has fuck-you money from his IKEA deal or whatever.

Aidan’s talking about his farmhouse and his chickens in Virginia who like to lay eggs in his son’s bed. Carrie is blown away by the fact that his house has things like doors and hot water. She’s like, “done, I’m there.” Who is this pod person???? Aidan’s so pumped she’s gonna meet his chickens that he hangs up on room service and gives Carrie the bang down.

Back at her place, Carrie Googles pics of the type of farmhouse Aidan has and they’re fuuucking gorgeous. She’ll only go if it’s chic and I understand. Later, when she goes to brunch with the gals, they immediately start debating whether or not chickens can fly. They’re all shook she’s actually going to Virginia, but Carrie says she wants to meet Aidan’s sons and birds.
